Auto repair service near Delaware City, DE

I recently purchased a used car from Wayne, and it is not my first one. My parents have bought a few cars from Wayne, that is why I went there. As I have no credit, I needed a buy here pay here deal. After a few days of research, I finally went to the dealership, and got the car I wanted. After driving the car for a week, I noticed some things that needed to be taken care of, so I called Wayne, and made an appointment to leave the car, and later that day, Wayne called me to say everything was taken care of. I asked what the charges were, as the items were not coverd in the 30 day warranty. He told me that was no charge, because I did not have the car very long, and since they have a full service department, it was easy to take care of everything. I weould be the first one to complain if I thought I was being treated unfair, but I , and my parents recommend Waqyne's.

Brought the car there because the brakes are pulsating when depressed. Dropped the car off the night before. They called me in the morning saying they are checking the car. An hour later needs rotors (warped) and the front wheels balanced. They said that was the cause. $550 I said fine. I get there around 1230. The bill was 25 dollars more, no call to advise. Fine I paid. I leave and within 6 minutes call them back to advise the problem persist and now the front brakes are smoking heavy. I bring the car back, I was there 40 minutes without anyone saying a fucking word about what was going on. Unprofessional AF! I asked what the status was, " waiting on parts" did not say what parts. 2 hours later I get my car back. "Should be good now the first rotors I guess were bad" i take the car and the problem still fucking persist. I have to wait to speak to someone AGAIN! $575 dollars for a fucking nightmare. Don't go there!

My truck had clunking noise. I already took it to 2 other shops and they couldn't figure out problem. Victor at Signature was able to diagnose and fix my truck the same day it was dropped off! He was very informative and answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend this shop and will return here if I need any additional repairs and for vehicle maintenance.

You know how this story ends, right? We bought a 2004 Cadillac SRX (a real beauty), 108,000 miles, paid cash and in full $11,995. A week later, brought it back b/c the engine was "noisy"; they kept it 2 days and returned it stating they didn't hear any "noise" and "maybe it's the transmission". We asked them to repair this under the 3 mo/3,000 warranty. They said it "had to breakdown first." Wow. Six-months later, THE ENGINE DIED. We called NATIONAL AUTO SALES to address this issue. We were told they were busy with customers, but what did we want from them. We told them we wanted them to remember we were once "customers" and to pay to replace the engine. They offered to do this "at cost"; we agreed that sounded good, but wanted OUR mechanic to install a QUALITY engine, given the circumstances. We asked for his name; he said "Mike"...we asked for his last name; he said "Just Mike". Now, we have not heard from "Just Mike" to make good on his offer. We are, however, going to pay to have a quality engine installed AND Carchex will put a 5yr/100,000 warranty on it. Total costs, which will become DAMAGES that we WILL seek to recover: minus $11,995 for a car with a DEAD ENGINE $4,250 for a quality engine installed, $2,875 for an extended warranty=$7,125. Expensive lesson... I AM NOT ALONE--OTHERS HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF BY NATIONAL AUTO SALES...IN THE SAME WAY. Buy the car, drive it a few months, and the ENGINE DIES. Don't become a victim. I am so lucky to have these guys down the street from me! They're my heroes! Tony was recommended at different times by guys working at Pep Boys, Auto Zone, as well as another mechanic before I actually found myself at his shop. When 3 car dudes recommend a mechanic, you know they have to be solid! I showed up one night after 5pm with an emergency, and the guys were incredibly kind, quick, and the repair was more than reasonably priced. I was out of there by my daughter's bedtime..and my positive experience has been repeated every time I have gone there. All the guys that work there are really awesome and conscientious, and each of them at one time or another has gone above and beyond in unexpected ways to make sure my car is at its best. When I needed to replace my beat up old vehicle, Tony took the time to look the new one over and drive it around the block so I could feel secure in making a good decision. I could seriously keep writing about their awesomeness, but i think i have made my point. If you need a reliable, honest, and reasonable mechanic, this is the place to go.

Went to have my breaks checked. A & A Auto Service was totally fill with honest and awesome mechanic. Told me I could go a couple of months before having them changed!

Buyer beware,this man tried to steal 300 dollars from me.He is a liar and a thief.He is why used car dealers have the reputation they have.Beware the wolf in sheeps clothing!
