We just moved from the FL Keys to PSL and brought our Winnebago RV built on a 2006 Mercedes Benz Sprinter chassis. We are the original owners and we treat it with great pride and care. After doing a lot of research, and checking out lots of reviews online, we paid a visit to Duane and checked out SLAD. We were impressed and felt confident that SLAD was the place to service our beloved RV in the future, for many reasons, too long for this short review. We have since brought our RV in for evacuation and charge of its a/c. The service was performed professionally while I waited. The price was fair and the a/c now blows ice cold. I have been to many auto repair shops and met many auto mechanics, some good, some not so much. I had some discussions about the MB Sprinter chassis, and found that Wayne was up to speed on all the details on this vehicle. I have a lot of confidence with Wayne and SLAD being the auto shop I will be using for all my RV chassis future needs.

I FIRST WAS AT A TIRE SHOP WILL NOT SAY WHAT ONE BUT THEY TOLD ME I NEEDED BRAKES ALL FOUR WHEELS. I REFUSED TO HAVE THEM DO THE REPAIR FOR 950.00 DOLLERS I WENT TO AUTO TECH FOR A SECOND OPINOIN AND COME TO FIND OUT FOR 259.33 MY CAR WAS FIXED AND IT DID NOT NEED ALL FOUR WHEEL BRAKE JOB. THESE GUYS ARE GREAT. CHASE. :)

I have brought eight cars from Commuter cars. Over a period of 4 years I have experienced very positive sales and service. If you are walking and your credit is not that good these are the guys to see. I have read other reviews and what was left out is No Warranty on cars sold. Check the car out before purchase.

They couldn't fix it and stole my cd's out of my car. I had someone else fix it and they didn't steal anything.

Jeff is seriously the best mechanic I have ever been to. We got car troubles on a long road trip and ended up being curb side near the Fort Pierce exit. It was about 8 pm and all the mechanics were closed. I called the number for Able and Jeff answered. I told him the situation and he offered to wait until the tow truck got there. It was 10 when we finally got to him. He looked at the car that night. While he was diagnosing the car he gave us soda and mosquito repellent. Once he solved the issue and ordered the part to come in the next day he dropped us off at a hotel and picked us up the next day! He even taught us to look out for signs of overpriced service from other mechanics! Wish he was in Gainesville because I'd take my car to him for anything! Great man, good mechanic! Knows his stuff!
