I own Douglas Automotive Repair Inc and am sorry you experienced some quality issues with our shop. I am a certified technician and have been for 35 years. We always use high quality parts in our repairs; through the years we’ve been in business we’ve found that it just doesn’t pay to use lower quality parts unless it’s a customer request to keep costs down. We did have a period where we were having employee quality issues, but have since resolved those. It’s very unfortunate that it impacted some of our customers as we worked through it. The staff at Awesome are a very friendly, fair and honest group. Sitting on the fence of keeping or getting rid of my 90s Toyota that I enjoy driving to this day, I decided to get a quote from them based on recommendations about their very competitive pricing, customer service, and my preference to support small business. The car had a massive oil leak, so I knew it would be costly. They took great care in finding all of the potential leaks and changed the timing belt for an excellent price that wasn't as bad as I had thought. I had trouble with my truck and I didn't know what is was. I took it to All Pro and they took the time to explain to me what was going on. They rebuilt my Transmission and I was on my way in no time.

I bought my Grand Prix here a few years ago, they fix the odometer, so the miles match Carmax records. I didn't notice until a few months into it. While on a road trip to Detroit, I set the trip meter to check my gas miles and after I reached Detroit the trip meter showed 160 miles instead of 300 miles. On my return trip the total miles from Detroit to Chicago in odometer was 140miles. After checking with my mechanic he told me the front dash has been opened and they have done some thing to ododmeter.When i called the owner with this issue, he was sounded off like i never bought the car here and when I went in person he asked me whats the guaranty that I didn't do this to the car, I would not suggest buying a car here. Go to a real dealer.

Johnny and Ivan are just wonderful guys! Honest and reliable shop! Best labor prices in town. My husband and I don't take our cars to any other shop! I have referred friends and to them and I feel you don't so that unless you are 100% happy with the service provided!
