Auto repair service near Millis, MA

I went in for diagnostic work regarding my gas mileage, they did full diagnostic and found nothing wrong and spoke with me extensively about it. They didn't charge me for the work, they were fantastic, pleasant, knowledgeable, personable, this was a 5 star car service, I will be going back again and again.

Overland was sold back in May 2018 and the new name is Boston Rover Repair I did not know what to expect, I took the car in and Tom figure it out on the spot they really do know Rovers. I can't thank enough Arti and Tom for the fast turn around on those repairs just before a trip, the car was overheating and others couldn't find the issue since the radiator was not leaking. I needed a new car, looked them up online, came and visited them, decided to buy a car,did all the paper work a day later, after 3 days they decided to let drive the car,30 minutes I left the shop I was driving down route 95, and the "Check Engine" light showed up, it was a 2006 Nissan Maxima. We called the owner of Sega Auto Sales, he told us to bring the car back for him to fix it, the car stayed with him for over 15 days, he could not find the problem, we complaint about it he then decided to take the car top Nissan on Route 1 Saugus, Nissan told us that they could not figure out the problem either, due to some services Sega Auto Mall had already done to the car, Nissan kept the car in their shop for another 3 days and advised me to return the car and get my money back. I requested that to Sega Auto Sales, but the owner of Sega Auto mall refused to honor the customers right to the "Lemon Law". Sega Auto Sales decided to sell me another car more expensive, I accepted because it was a better car, I re-signed all the paper work to aquire the new car, he gave the price of the weekly payments, I agreed to it. A week later the Bank where I financed the car called me charging for a higher payment that I did not agreed with. I told the customers services at the bank, that it was not what I agreed to pay, the bank advised me to call Sega Auto Sales, and straight it up with them. So I did, the owner of Sega Auto Sales was so rude to me, he did not let me talk, and stated that the ammount of money I had to pay was higher because he had to deal with me, because I was a difficult customer. They are rude, unfair, and unfaithfull, they only talk nicely to you until you sign the papers, after that they decide to do whatever they want with your personal information. Please everyone be aware of that, I would not want by worse enemy to go thru what I did with them. read less

These men are the greatest & are so honest it's really a blessing to find people of this caliber in this day & age. They not only care about the work they do but they truly care about the customer also. The engine is perfect & the car is running great. I also went in about 3 months ago because my car was vibrating so much that I couldn't go over 50 on the highway. Of course I'm thinking the worst & big money but they once again were honest & told me all I needed was a pair of new tires. What a relief, they could of told me anything & taken advantage of the situation, but no honest as always. Keith the owner & his mechanic are always on site, even if you just need advice stop in & you will always be greeted with a smile. I couldnt be happier with the work that 290 did on my car. You can bring your vehicle to 290 and know that your not going to get ripped off. No matter how big or small the job is they get it done right.When I got my suv back from 290 I was so surprised they had cleaned my car at no cost to me!!!!! The owner is so nice, he explains everything that he needs to do to your vehicle in detail before he does it. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. In the future I need any work done on my car I will bring it to 290 AUTOBODY without hesitation!!!!!!!

Its hard to find an honest mechanic these days and let me tell you I found one.. I had my car towed there recently because it wouldn't start, they were very professional and counties even offering me a ride to work and back . It ended up being a loose connection at the battery terminal . They took care of it and didn't even charge me. I mean I have been to other service garages before that wouldn't even take a look at the car without charging a minimum diagnostic fee. I highly recommend this place to anyone not looking to get ripped off and be treated fair.

POOR OWNERSHIP ! Mechanics overcharge ! Beware , Do not Bring your Car There .

I went to Young's Garage in Worcester, MA on 8/6/15, for my first time. I spoke to Jim about having my car looked at for a starting problem. I was told there was a $45 charge to diagnose the problem. When he got back to me later that day he told me it was the alternator and it would be $375 total. I asked him why it was so expensive and he told me it was because the part was hard to get to. He said it was a big job so therefore most of the charge would be for labor. He told me if I dropped my car off the next morning it would be done later that day. I dropped the car off at 8am and Jim told me he would call me when the car was done. I waited until 3:00 to call and check on the progress. Jim told me it wasn't ready and it would be done for 5:00. I went to pick up the car and he handed me a bill for $330 after I already paid the initial $45 charge. The next day I called to question about the $45 charge, because the part and labor were through his shop. All the garages I have gone to take the initial diagnostics charge off if you buy the part and have the labor done at their shop. I wanted to let him know I was dissatisfied with the price all together and the amount of time it took between both days. Because of this experience, which was my first here, I will never go to this garage again.
