My wife went back to her parents’ home so our children could visit Grandma & Grandpa in Bellefontaine, OH. On the way there, the power brake booster failed on our 2004 Ford Expedition. My wife scheduled an appointment with the service department at Anderson Ford. They replaced the brake booster, but in doing so, also damaged the Fuel Evaporative Canister Purge valve & bent the secondary stop switch on the brake pedal so badly, the cruise control wouldn't even work anymore! After my wife arrived home in Dubuque, Iowa, I personally contacted Nick Morris (Service Manager) and he said that he talked to the owner (Wilson “Willy” Anderson) and gave me his word that they would take care of the expenses incurred to repair the components damaged during the power brake booster replacement. It has been 6 weeks (and counting), and no one has returned my calls, nor have I rec'd the promised reimbursement. “Slick Willy” Anderson is only concerned about his bottom line...not the customer, or customer service. Drive the extra distance to another dealership!!! You’ll never regret it!

These guys are liars and crooks! I took my car in for a simple oil change with a tire rotation. They told me I need to have all of my brakes and rotors and calipers replaced for $800.00. By the way, they did this 2 years ago when I went in for an oil change. 2 years ago, my buddy and I reaplced the back brakes because we heard something wrong. The oil change was literally 6 months later when they told me the brakes needed to be redone. So my 6 month old brakes needed to be replaced. This time, I obviously knew better so told them to put my car back together and not to touch anything. Well, my buddy and I got the brakes and rotors at Advanced Auto parts who apparantly sells some parts to Midas. So I took the car there because I was within the warranty period on the back brakes. They said they looked good, but because Midas was a client of theirs and recommended replacement, they would warranty the parts out. We replaced both the front and rear brakes yesterday and I took the parts back to Advanced to get reimbursed. They said there was literally nothing wrong with them as did my friend. He also suggested that their particular store has stopped doing business with Midas because of these practices. As a kicker, I did have Midas replace the fronts about 5 years ago (which I negotiated about $100 off the price they quoted) and when I went in for that first oil change they told me I needed all new brakes. I reminded them they had just done the fronts about a year ago and they said, oh yeah just the backs need to be replaced. This time they said the calipers needed to be replaced and when I questioned them they said they just needed to be cleaned. This place will lie, cheat, and take advantage of you at any opportunity. Also, note that when they guarantee brake pads for life, brake pads are $25....they do not give free service to put them on so you will still pay another $100 for the service fee and deal with all of the above telling you all

INCOMPETENT and NEGLIGENT "SERVICE" We dropped our 2015 CRV off at Hugh White Honda on Sunday,11/29/20 for service(closed).We received a call Monday morning from Steve,our service advisor.Our car had the only exterior lock jimmied and entry required a locksmith since the battery was dead.The work proceeds afterwards.Later,that afternoon ,Steve calls and informs us the battery needs replaced but everything else is O.K. .We authorize the work and pick it up Tuesday at Hugh White Honda.We speak briefly with Steve and are on our way.Our new battery is dead five days later in our garage.We jump it and take it to another Honda dealer. The jimmied lock caused a electrical short and drained the battery.At no time did Steve discuss the repair or replacement of the door lock even though they discovered the damage. If you lack the competence to diagnose a electrical problem you ask your service manager for help.That mechanic was negligent in this respect. What if this had happened to my elderly wife in a remote area at night in Winter.The temperature is dropping and her phone is dead.She cannot enter the car for shelter.The word "negligence" precedes many tragedies.
