I took my car to Meineke (for the first time) a few months ago for a state inspection and an oil change and left it there while I was at work. A few hours later I relieved a call from a woman saying that my car was in need of $900.00 worth of repairs on top of the cost of the inspection and oil change and how would I like to pay for it? I told her that I didn't want any extra work to be done just the inspection and oil change. She stuck to her position but said fine. Now three months later I took my car to the dealership for my regular routine maintenance and mentioned that a few months back I was told the tires probably needed to be replaced. They called me to tell me they had no idea what I was talking about because the tires are fine in fact they are at 50% now and would have been even better a few months back! THEY LIE TO YOU TO GET YOU TO SPEND MONEY YOU DON'T NEED TO!

I took my Volvo here because they said they were Volvo certified - they are not. Although the car was running perfectly fine, we wanted them to check out a "Check transmission next service" message. Three thousand dollars later, the message is still there and the car is stone cold dead in my driveway. They said there is nothing more they can do - and they were RUDE about it.
