Brought my Nissan 350Z in to get an estimate to repair/replace the cover that opens and closes over my navigation system. We received the estimate from Conicelli the next day but decided not to go through with the repair. When we went to pick the car up we noticed that the plastic surrounding the navigation system had been scratched all over. We immediately brought it to the service center's attention but they refused to acknowledge any responsibility for the damage. We spoke with two managers at the service center but they both refused to fix or replace the plastic that had been scratched. We requested a phone call from the owner but he never got back to us. These guys are jerks.
I took my car to Meineke (for the first time) a few months ago for a s... read more I took my car to Meineke (for the first time) a few months ago for a state inspection and an oil change and left it there while I was at work. A few hours later I relieved a call from a woman saying that my car was in need of $900.00 worth of repairs on top of the cost of the inspection and oil change and how would I like to pay for it? Like I could just whip out $900.00 on the spot! I have a 2010 Nissan Rouge so that just didn't make any sense. The car was running great and I always take it in for routine maintenance. I asked if it would pass inspection without all the repairs and she said yes but just barely. She said my back tires really needed to be replaced. I told her that I didn't want any extra work to be done just the inspection and oil change. She stuck to her position but said fine. Now three months later I took my car to the dealership for my regular routine maintenance and mentioned that a few months back I was told the tires probably needed to be replaced. They called me to tell me they had no idea what I was talking about because the tires are fine in fact they are at 50% now and would have been even better a few months back! THEY LIE TO YOU TO GET YOU TO SPEND MONEY YOU DON'T NEED TO!

Dropped my car there for an inspection and 2 hours later i was told that my car needs this, that, and a lot more! Then i went to 2 independent auto shops, and got their opinion on what i need to do, the answer from both of them was - NOTHING!!! I guess, this particular Meineke shop needs to ripp their customers off just so they can pay that high rent on a Main Line, but not for nothing - making up the problems so they can benefit from it? Horrible, dishonest mechanics - shame on you!
