I have a 1991 Ford F-150. My Dad purchased it used in 2012, and it has had NOTHING but issues. The check engine light would NEVER stay off. So, over the years, he and my Mom took it to several mechanics, had numerous amounts of work done to it, and spent TONS of money....not fixed. It seemed that NO ONE could get the check engine light off, and the truck always had to go into the shop. So, they decided to give it to me, (as I had begged them for it since they got it). Transmission had issues, so my Mom called Transmissions America, and they got it in immediately, and got me going with an AWESOME transmission, with little time and money involved! Great job guys! So, I had my truck running ok (never was the best since purchased), then, it broke down again! Ok, so after several mechanics and a lot of money, it still was messed up. My Mom called Transmissions America, and Eric said to bring it in and he would fix it. Well, it turned out to be a headache, and VERY time-consuming, and it was so messed up that their computer wouldn't even read it! But, they didn't give up!!! I can't even begin to explain how much time that Eric and ALL the mechanics spent trying to figure out what was wrong with my truck. They don't like "guessing" or just throwing parts on there and costing you money, which is what I absolutely LOVE about them! Eric was in constant communication with my Mom and I telling us what problems they found, what they fixed, what else needed fixed, and what was previously fixed, but either botched, broken, or fixed with "junkyard parts". So, after a few weeks, and a lot of frustration for the guys at Transmissions America, they were happy (and I think relieved) to tell me that my truck was ready!!!! Yay! They pretty much replaced EVERYTHING that was previously worked on over the years, plus other things that had never been replaced, and they even got the check engine light off - for the 1st time ever, the light was OFF! The price was not even one-fifth of what we have paid everywhere else, and that is AMAZING! I have now driven my truck daily since I got it fixed, and I'm happy to report that everything is GREAT! No check engine light, it purrs like a kitten (always had a miss or two in it), no jumping, hesitation, leaks, spits, sputters....NOTHING!!!! So, if you ever have car trouble of ANY kind, I HIGHLY recommend the guys at Transmission of America to do the work! They did the impossible with my truck...NO ONE could fix "My Big Red". So, they definitely have all of our business, my family's, friends, and EVERYONE I can recommend. Do not take you vehicle ANYWHERE else and get had! They are very nice, caring, and they treat you like family. Eric was AWESOME throughout this "trying" time. They are the BEST at what they do, and no one will EVER touch any of my vehicles but them! 6/4/2022 Brought my mothers car in for inspection and I was in and out in less than 45 minutes… exceptionally pleased w the customer service provider all staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I brought my car in hoping I had chosen an honest garage this time. I had been having a lot of noises coming from the front end of my car. Long story short they have earned my business from here on out. They called me with an estimate and let me know what the problem was. They were able to have it ready in one day and my total was less than my estimate. When I was in the office picking my car up everyone else who was in there for service was telling me what a great job they do and how trustworthy they were. It is hard to find an honest mechanic these days.

This place has the best alignments around. The owner works very quickly and efficiently. I have never had any problems! Best alignments, great price, and wonderful people. I did read the comment previous to this, and I'm saddened to see the negativity toward a small business. With the complexity behind fixing a vehicle (Experience in the business), it's easy to get confused about the different causes to different problems. I've had a wonderful experience there, and will continue to use you guys! Thanks!

My VW Passat was hit by a deer, being very particular about my car, I was worried about where to have it repaired. I ran into to Don who works at Berglund one morning and he noticed the missing grille, dent in the fender, and bumper barely hanging on. He suggested I bring it to Berglund for a estimate, no pressure. It thought no pressure, nothing to lose, so the estimate was done and to my surprise was less than the Farm Bureau estimate. Don, Jim (Body Shop Manager) and I looked over the car, talked about repairs, what needed painting, parts and some cost saving options. I left feeling with a sense of relief, I could tell by their experience and knowledge my car was going to be taken care of. Jim was great about making additional suggestions and keeping me up to date on the progress of my car. I was in no rush, just wanted a great final outcome. Less than 2 weeks later my car was ready. I am very impressed with the results, Frank did a paint job that was flawless and Marvin who did the body repairs made sure all the parts were put back to perfection. I couldn't have ask for a better experience, from the time it was taken in, down to the ladies that completed my invoice. I did feel like I was treated like a number and it was #1. I would recommend them to anyone.

got state inspection done less than a year ago. at that time they told me that rare breaks need to be replaced and front are OK for now. in less than a year my front breaks began to wear out and now the damage is pretty severe. I went to another auto repair shop and they told me that I will have to have my rotors, break pads as well as calipers changed. it's now costing me $500. I wish monro muffler had advised me to have my front break pads changed when they did my inspection. perhaps they under estimated things. the owner of the shop, Chris is funny, rather very wierd guy. cracks lots of silly jokes with customers and tries to act smart. I think this is an unprofessional attitude of his because it makes him look non-serious about the customers problems.

This was the worst car wash I've ever had. Not only did they not even get the paw prints from the neighbor s cat off in their Platinum Service, they waxed right over them. Additionally, the Platinum Service was the highest service listed, so we assumed it would include the interior of the car. Wrong. It did include spraying the tires, which was done so haphazardly that they looked striped. I wrote to them using their customer service "contact us" email link to give them a chance to make it right or at least send us a form email, but it's been seven weeks and they never even responded. You'd be better off paying a six year old to wash your car.

Chose this site for auto body repair because of location. Initial repair estimate totally inaccurate. 3 day repair is now taking 13 days. Was supposed to have car ready twice only to be told more parts needed. Would not trust anything they say. If it was possible I would give negative star rating but this site requires at least a one star to post comments

Tore headliner while tinting windows, refused to fix it. Also left debris on one window and tinted over it....

I suggest if you are African-American or affiliated with African-Americans this shop clearly does not appreciate your business. I was told by a white friend to take vehicle here... boy was he wrong. Worst experience I've had since the 80s, I thought it was 1950. Definitely made me realize there are clearly racists among us. Needless to say my white friend says he will never go back to have his pickup worked on and he apologized for making the suggestion.

The nice young lady asked what type of oil changes I wanted and I chose the 19.99 special. When it came time to pay, it was over 30 dollars. I asked why and the grease monkey told me it was because my car used six 1/2 quarts of oil. I said I didnt know there was a limit and he said we charge 5 dollars for each quart over 5. I said If I had known that I would have not had the work done. He became quiet and I said so customer service doesn't matter here and he said I am not going to belabor the point. I should be glad I dont drive a porche. In other words he was not going to argue with me. I would be happy to drive a porche but I am not happy about bad customer service at a oil change shop. The correct thing to do would have been to give me a discount or offer an apology. I got neither. With that said, I will not return to this shop and will make sure I tell everyone I know not to visit there either.

First off the truck was 2000 over KBB price. We put our down payment of 1500 down and had to wait 3 weeks while the truck was "fixed", Drove the truck all of a month ( if that) and it broke down in the snow. Guess what it's going to be over 1500 to get it fixed. Parts were JB welded on, water in the transfer case. Our repair place said the truck should NEVER have passed inspection, That it was a death trap!!! Thanks Quantum for selling us a unsafe pos when you saw that we had small children to put in it!!!

Lifetime Muffler is so small and they only have two mechanics so the wait time there is HORRIBLE. I went right when they opened up and after waiting a few hours and my car not worked on I left. All I needed was an inspection and an oil change. This was after earlier in the week I dropped the car off for the day to have these things done and they never got around to it, said they were "Slammed". It's always like that there, people that show up after the place has been opened a couple hours are turned away because they can't get to them. They only have two gates to work on cars and a parking lot packed with cars to work on.

I have been a customer for several years – never had a reason to complain but since I’ve been cheated, everyone should know what to expect. They say they honor warranties and work with them all the time but they will not bother to call the warranty provider and with their own interests in mind will say the warranty does NOT cover it. After pulling records from my warranty provider, they never called to even ask if it was covered – I had an ultimate warranty which was bumper to bumper equivalent. After bringing this up to the owner Marc Wilson, he said he didn’t care and it wasn’t his job to work with the warranty company and it’s my fault that it wasn’t submitted to warranty.
