Auto repair service near Bear Creek, PA

I purchased a car from them in October, first impression was that these were really honest family oriented people. The buying experience was wonderful. I now have to say, Buyer Beware!!! The car I purchased started with just small issues. First the high beams, then the front tires on the front within a month were showing steel, then came the big stuff, leaking head gasket and finally the transmission, all of this in less than 5 months. Their response was "Oh Well" It's a used car. Supposedly it passed inspection with flying colors, because the day I bought it, it had a brand new sticker. Please keep in mind, that i did not travel extensively with this car. My commute to work each day is only 8 min. each way all other travel was typical family stuff. Grocery store etc. If you decide to purchase from them, please bring a mechanic with you or have it checked immediately by a mechanic you trust, but I really would recommend buying a car elsewhere if possible

These guys were great! They fixed several problems on my 99 VW Beetle that the dealer had ignored even after I asked them to check them. They fixed problems that had been going on for years and got the check engine light off. They were also very reasonable and right down the road. Thanks Eurotek! I will be back with my other cars. Before I bought the car, I had asked about service that is important to have done to the make (subaru) and was told it was done 8,000 miles previous. The car did have an oil leak, and before the warranty ran out, I requested that it be repaired. I was made to pay nearly $500 to have exactly the same repair done that I was told was done 8,000 miles ago. And it took over 2 weeks to do the repair, after I drove the car 25 miles to the garage doing the work. I was lied to, plain and simple......and went without a car for over 2 weeks, and spent a great deal of money to repair something that I was told was taken care of. Bad business practice, lying is. I will never buy a car there again. I have heard numerous stories that are very similar since. Not good people.

i bought a car on a friday. by sunday the power steering pump was nearly empty, there was power steering fluid on the underside of the engine. i called them that moday and got put on with bill. he said it was not covered under the warranty. i asked if they would help me out since i only had it 48 hours and he refused. he said it was on me to get it looked at and repaired. they will not stand behind their cars and forget about service after the sale.

I just went there to get my car inspected on a couple weeks ago. They failed my car for my muffler and the rubber bushings in my control arms. I took it to my regular mechanic in NJ and NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH MY CAR!! Meineke wanted to charge me almost $1000 to fix nothing. I will never go there again for anything. All they want to do is rip you off. DON'T GO THERE!!

SCAMMERS and THIEVES. Called reception asked “how much to change break pads, labor only because I have Autozone pads” was told $130. Told them I’ll be there in 40min, male reception said OK. Come there, wait an additional 30 minutes, the male receptionist finally shows up, gets my car or the lift and I wait another 30 minutes. Receptionist finally gives me the bill breakdown, mind you they haven’t even started on the car, with price tag of $160 for FRONT break pads and another $160 for BACK break pads, with mandatory purchase/installation of THEIR OWN front rotors. I tell them “over the phone I was quoted $130, and I’ll be back in 10 minutes with my own front rotors.” At that moment the receptionist FREAKS OUT. He starts screaming at me and my 70 year old mother, saying stuff like “YOU PEOPLE” and “PEOPLE LIKE YOU” (racist much?) “always do this, I can’t stand you, maybe I don’t even want to do this job”. So I said no worries, I’ll go elsewhere. He began arguing with me, called me stupid for not knowing I needed rotors, said he’s been “in the (scamming?) business for many years” so I stood there politely listening to his nonsense, and then said “I just want to mention that I failed state inspection 3 days prior, for the reason of “low break pads”. He got embarrassed, turned red and stopped talking. He charged me $60 for putting the car on the lift, oh and when I was leaving, one of the mechanics “conveniently forgot” to put back in my car a brand new car part “Tie Rod End” that I also purchased at Autozone to be changed at a later time. Did he forget, or did he steal and was hoping we won’t notice? You decide. Thanks for reading.
