Auto repair service near Orrstown, PA

I moved here from Mount Airy, MD. My brother is a mechanic with his own shop and has always serviced our vehicles. When I moved to Mercersburg, Pa I stumbled upon Liberty Tire and Auto. They are by far the best service station I've been to. They have always been professional, honest and upfront with me. They haven't tried to sell me services that I don't need; the ones I have needed to have done have been reasonably priced. I wouldn't take my cars any where else!

Have had to go there alot recently to get my cars fixed. They are always helpful, good prices and do a fantastic job. Friendly and they go out of their way! Tough to find in any business these days. I would not hesitate at ALL to recommend them.

Done on a 1992 Mercury 2 litre v6 135hp. Engine runs like a dream. Fellow fishermen waiting to launch their boats remarked how well and smooth engine idles !!!

I would not recommend buying a vehicle here. We have had problems with our car. We took it back twice to get the same problem fixed. After spending quite a bit of money...our car is still not running. Why you ask...because the problem that we thought was fixed (remember we did this two times already) is still not fixed. Our car has had 2 heads installed and now we have to put the 3 one in. 3 heads in 4 months....

My experiences with Hippensteel Auto is 100% satisfied! The noise in my engine was immediately addressed and fixed the dsy it happened. They had me park the car, picked it up and took it to the station. I received a call at the end of the day that the part had been replaced and the car was ready for pick up! I never have a concern when Hippensteel's service my car! I am grateful!!!! -Mary Jo

I forgot to say in post just a second ago, the no bus means-no communication on the PCM-which could range from bad connection, to cluster needing replaced, to PCM needing replaced. Reason i fugured someone tried to figure out was because of all the missing screws to dash. Internet says probably cluster when u have issues like this car has (NO BUS-No speedometer, No Tach, No Temp Gauge, No CD Player, ect...Just thought i throw that out there.
