Auto repair service near Schuylkill Haven, PA

I'm new to this area and was looking for a good place to go to get my muffler fixed. I definitely picked the right place. They are extremely friendly and professional. They showed me exactly what was wrong with my car and offered to fix it the very same day. I was so impressed that I will be taking my car there for everything including oil changes, inspections, etc. I definitely recommend this shop and won't be going anywhere else.

My wife and I bought a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle with only 12,000 miles from Bob Fisher about 2 months ago. We started having problems with the starter about a month into owning it. When we contacted the dealership to setup Service, they told us that the car was not Certified Pre-Owned. The said they never had paperwork showing that it was. It was up to me to prove that it was. The Certified Pre-Owned feature was a selling point for the salesman. We still had all of the paperwork showing that it was under Warranty. I faxed them all of the paperwork that I had on Friday morning. On Monday, they said they never received it. It wasn't until several phone calls, a 2nd fax and an e-mail to the Sales Mgr that they claimed to have suddenly found the original fax. I have yet to get the car in for Service. I can only imagine what kind of nightmare I am in for with that.

Recently, I made a huge mistake by purchasing a vehicle here. I bought a vehicle in "great condition" and was stupidly talked out of opting for any type of warranty since the dealer was supposedly going to bring it up to inspection before releasing it to me. Two months later it was finally "done"... and had nothing done to it. After buying it (for too much) I spent another $4,000 !!!! to repair or replace: Transmission, 4 struts, 2 axles, 2 hub bearings, 4 tires (he put the wrong size on, blamed a faulty sensor for the pressure light, and they blew), 2 new spark plugs, and the head gaskets. I could have bought a NEW vehicle for what I paid for this POS. And the whole time he insisted his mechanic checked everything, fixed everything. And the worst part, I now have no money and it's still not running as it should. I would never in good conscience let anyone buy a car, van, truck, even a bicycle from Second Chance Auto. Ever.
