Auto repair service near Highland Park, TX

I had a hood repainted on a 2005 Ford Expedition due to lost of the clear coat and paint. Being an older car, I was worried about matching the color, I needed not worry, it's a great match and a professional job. I tell my grandkids, "Look at my new car!" I purchased a used 2006 Range Rover from Hamdy the onwer on eBay.I live in FL. Car looked great in photos and listing. Talked to Hamdy he said everything worked great on car, no issues. Purchased car and had LemonSquad inspect it. Hamdy must have paid off the inspector to give me a decent report as none of these obvious flaws were mentioned. Immediately upon delivery by driver that Budget Motors hired I found lots of issues with the car. The engine would not idle, needed full tuneup/throttle body service $1,000. AC compressor was broken, mechanic advised that seller overfilled Freon to try and hide problem $1,800 repair. Brake rotors are severely warped, there was a bolt stuck in the front tire. There was also extensive body damage, deep scratches and scars from minor accidents that he tried to fix with touchup paint. None of this was disclosed to me. Several other issues including blown speakers, glovebox broken, etc. I asked Hamdy in writing to reimburse me for repairs several times over the last 2 weeks before leaving this feedback and he would not even give me the decency of a response. I would not trust these people as far as i can throw a stick. I would be willing to go into more detail to anyone who wants to know about his shady practices of selling cars out of state.

Took my car in to replace both front and rear gaskets for oil leak and replace the rack and pinions. My car on in their shop for 3 days. On the day I picked up the car and drove off, the car made a loud whistle sound, unable to turn my wheels. I manage to drive back to the shop and the owner had to correct the issue. The rack and pinion was leaking power steering fluids all over. part of the rack and pinions was left loose as well. As for the oil leak, my engine is still leaking oil. They did not made the repair to replace the front and rear gaskets but instead charge me for it. To this day which is 3/31/2025, my engine is still leaking oil. I am filing a law suit to recover my money they stole from me. DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! If there are a negative -5 Stars they deserve it.

Southwest car care is amazing... The level of expertise and professionalism plus time efficiency that went into fixing my car and making sure that it was completed correctly and on time was a new experience... The owner (Terry) is straight forward and always fair... I love my mechanic... =)

I am not a person that writes a lot of reviews. In fact, this is the first one I have ever written and I'm 58 years old but I must say I felt an unbelievable desire to share my experience that I had with Swift Auto Care in Royse City, TX. I am not from Texas; in fact I live and work about 250 miles from the Royse City area and was visiting a friend when I found myself 4 hours away from home with deadlines to meet at work the following day and quite frankly at the mercy of an auto repair shop to fix my car as I was in need of immediate service. In a world where it can be extremely difficult to find an honest mechanic at a fair price I have to say I was incredibly happy to find T at Swift Auto Care. Since that time I again found myself in a similar situation when I was in this area and my headlights quit working. I didn't have to think twice about who to call. T; the owner was not only willing to help he refused to let me pay him for this service. Huge thanks to T and the employees at Swift Auto Care for getting me back on the road and home safely. You are truly an asset to this community and a blessing.

Liers!! These guys are scam artists

I could not be happier with the service these guys provided. I called them to fix a blown tire on my daughter car on the side of the highway. They had someone there in less than 20 minutes and did a great job. 5 stars for these nice guys.

He is friendly and honest and gets the job done right! Albert is welcoming to all of their customers. They communicate the necessary repairs and give options to suit your budget. Mailed a check on Friday (1st). Talked with Candy on Saturday (2nd) and made her aware that check was in the mail. She said that was fine and that I could pick up my tags Monday or Tuesday once they received they payment. Stayed in on Monday, walked out Tuesday morning only to find my car gone. Called the dealer to find out they had towed it Monday afternoon. Turns out, Miss Candy hadn't felt the need to update my account notes when she talked to me. Even though I had made them aware of the payment, and Miss Candy had said everything was fine, and they did receive the payment, I was still forced to pay $200 of the $400 repo fee. And that's not even the end of it. Went in a few days later to pick up my car. When I opened the door, the passenger seat was leaned back, my c.d.'s were thrown around on the floor board, there were candy wrappers all over, and my GPS unit was nowhere to be found. When I went in to ask about this, the two females were too busy on their lunch to simply get me the number for the tow company. Not too busy however to talk about how it was my fault. I have 18 more payments on this car before I drop them. Stay clear of this dealership. Shady, shady, shady.
