Plaza Tire on Broadway in Columbia, MO leaves a whole lot to be desired. The bigwigs at Cape Girardeau & Sun Auto who owns them know the details - but only listened to Zach...very sad indeed!

I brought my car to the Smiley Lane Plaza shop and asked them to fix the mistakes that the downtown shop made. The downtown shop didn't torque the lug nuts on my car correctly, and the wheel almost flew off on the highway going to St. Louis. I got to St. Louis having lost 2 lug nuts, and the other 3 so loose I could turn them with my fingers. I tightened the lugs nuts that remained in the parking lot of the airport, and found the nearest auto parts store to replace the 2 that had fallen off. The Smiley Lane store checked the torque on all my wheels, and checked the tire for wear for free. I have a life-time alignment for that car so I expected them to do the alignment for free, but I can tell you that the car drove noticably better after did the alignment. In addition, I asked them to reimburse me for the lug nuts I bought. This was only $8 dollars and didn't break the bank, but I felt I shouldn't have needed to buy them. It was really an integrity test, which the manager passed.He reimbursed my costs in cash. He was willing to fix the problems caused by another shop free of charge, and without complaints. I really appreciated that.

My daughter only had a 1 day window on getting her vehicle inspected as she had to go back to. school. Plaza got her in and out efficiently and were very polite to her as well.

Asked them to install my clutch kit. They refuse to install your parts so they can overcharge you. When asked for an estimate for them to install their kit, they refused to give phone quote saying vehicle has to be brought in. That way they can say more is wrong and overcharge you again. Hadn't heard anything good about them through friends but I decided to call anyway. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST!!!

Recently bought a new suv and had to have a crank shaft sensor put in. ..mechanic broke a part on engine and we had to get new one. One month later they said car was done, i picked it up and not 10hrs later, problem again. They had to change valve cover gaskets because they never checked the old ones on the new engine. .cost $100:(. 3 days later check engine light back on and it is leaking coolant. ..worst mechanic I've ever been to. I will never take any vehicle i own to them again and would strongly recommend to anyone to take their vehicle to someone who stands by their work.
