Auto repair service near Lake Worth, TX

I wanted to wait a bit before posting a review just to be positive I was as pleased with the work as I initially thought, and by golly, I am! Due to Covid restrictions (I guess) my regular repair shop has been closed, and my car was making scary awful noises as I drove (never a good feeling). Car repairs are never easy for a single gal that knows absolutely zero about cars, especially when looking for a new mechanic (get ripped off much)! Anyway, I was given a recommendation by someone I barely knew to go to Jerry at Christian's Auto Repair, and man oh man, am I thrilled I acted on the recommendation! My car is older (2008), and it is driving like a brand new vehicle. I look down and I am going 85 mph (I never normally speed in my "beater" car), and the ride is as smooth and quiet as a new car! Thoroughly pleased with the kindness and professionalism I received at Christians on Dallas Road in Grapevine, and I will be return there going forward for maintenance and repairs. This company has been wonderful to me! They saved my bacon a couple times! Charles came out and help me the first time and discovered some major things wrong with a car I bought. I found out it was bad. I was able to turn it in and get another wonderful car. And Charles came out before I got the wonderful car and help me out again. The receptionists are great and friendly. This is a DISHONEST shop. I had a misfire on one cylinder and they gave me a false diagnosis of a failed open injector - $273 to replace. It seemed like a reasonable diagnosis at the time and since I was about 300 miles from home I authorized the work. A few hours later I picked up my truck; the misfire was fixed so I paid the bill. When I got home I immediately noticed that they replaced the ignition coil (a job that should have cost under $100) but never touched the injector. The business owner adamantly insisted they replaced the injector but it was obvious to me that they did not, and an independent Nissan dealer also confirmed in writing that the injector had not been replaced. I eventually got my money refunded by filing a dispute with my credit card company. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND LOOKING ELSEWHERE for vehicle service. There are plenty of honest shops out there, but this is certainly not one of them.

I went into Pep Boys in Lake Worth Texas on 4/13/2013 for a standard oil change. When I walked in there were 2 gentlemen working the front desk. One of those employees was helping someone else the other was on the computer searching for information. Once he realized he could not find that info he decided to acknowledge me. I'd been standing there for about 3 to 4 minutes before he looked my direction and i was only 1 1/2 steps away from him. Against my better judgement I let them go ahead with the oil change. Customer Service is not there strong suit. I will not go back and would not recommend this establishment to any of my friends.

By far the best Automotive service on the West Side of Fort Worth. Honesty, Integrity and Friendly service are my requirements and Tilden Car Care Exceeds them all. Sometimes extremely busy so I suggest an Appointment. They do all my Tires replacements at a fair and competitive price. I won't go anywhere else anymore. Stevan Grimes

Southwest Autowerks is the most honest, professional and reliable mechic shop in the DFW Metroppex. I highly recommend their services regardless the size of the job to anyone-especially BMW owners. They should be the first stop source for all mechanical needs but especially when you need a second opinion. The service here was OUTSTANDING AND FAST! I got my car back in less than 24 hours, and didn't miss a beat. Situation: Key became stuck in the ignition and I couldn't shut my car off. Solution: Contacted this location, and received excellent customer care, prompt service, and they didn't kill my wallet (that's what caused me to steer clear of the dealership when I had car first diagnosed). Convenience: Courtesy ride from apartment to dealership. Value: The price was almost $200 less than the first, recommended auto place I'd gone to (thinking the Dealership will make me pull out a vein). Whenever you need help with your Saturn, ask for 'Matt', the Manager. The automotive team is awesome, and the Representatives are professional and friendly.
